Welcome to the Music Undergraduate Society’s website. We are a student-run club at the University of Calgary, focusing on connecting our fellow undergraduates in the music division with opportunities, events, and one another.

Voting is currently open for the selection of the 2026-2027 MUS executive team. The candidates’ campaign platforms are up on our Instagram page for you to view before submitting the voting form.
Please note, for each person, the roles have been listed in order of what the candidate is hoping to be voted for, followed by their second and third choices.

What does the MUS do?
The MUS is responsible for creating connection and support among students in the music program at the University of Calgary. We run social events for students, manage regular recitals on campus, connect with community members, and more. Our club is constantly changing and growing, and we are supported by the School of Creative and Performing Arts.
How can I access paid and volunteer opportunities?
When filling out your membership form, you may select whether you would like to be notified about opportunities. Our executive member in charge of external affairs will add you to the mailing list, and you will be emailed information pertaining to opportunities.
Is there a membership fee?
The MUS offers yearly membership to students from September-April. An $8 “Early bird” membership can be purchased through the month of September, and memberships purchased in the following months are $10.
